Period : May to October
Access : For everyone. Walks in the parks are flexible and don’t need a special physical condition.
Accommodation type : 2 stars and superior; trained hotels with private sanitary, excellent food quality and client assistance. Simple (bush) hotel during the traject Fort Dauphin - Tuléar .
Vehicles / Transports: All needed transfers and assistance airport/ Hotels/ airport are included. The trip will be done with 4DW car and an experienced English speaking driver who knows perfectly the itinerary.
Availability : The proposed trip is private and individual trip which could be arranged as per your requested period (take off or add on some days than the scheduled).

Day 1 Antananarivo
Meet and assistance at the airport, transfer to a hotel Chalet les Roses

Day2 Antananarivo / Fort Dauphin / Réserve de Nahampoana
Depends of the flight schedules transfer to the airport of Ivato and domestic flight to Fort Dauphin. Arrival and transfer to Residence Lavasoa for 03 nights stay. The Residence Lavasoa is situated nearby the famous beach of Libanona. In the afternoon visit of the private reserve of Nahampoanan, a half day excursion including the visit of the natural swimming pool, the little water fall, cave and a very relaxing short cruise on the mangroves. Many species of lemurs can be spotted as well. Back to the Guest house.

Day3 Fort Dauphin / Baie de Lokaro
A day excursion to the magnificiant Lokaro Bay : a little cruise on the salted lake of Lanirano till the village of Evatra, a little trek to the bay passing by the fisherman village. Possibility of swimming . Pic nic lunch during the excursion. At the end of the afternoon back to Fort Dauphin.

Day4 Fort Dauphin
Beach stay at leisure on bed and breakfast basis.

Day5 Fort Dauphin / Berenty
Around 2h30 minutes drive to head Berenty. morning enjoy stops en route short visit of Antandroy villages in the spiny desert. Arrival and installation at Berenty Lodge. The Berenty reserve is one of the most famous Malagasy reserve with it’s large populations of lemurs such as the ringtailed lemurs, Verreaux’ sifaka and as well the botanical garden. Before diner nocturnal visit for spotting the nocturnal species such as the mouse lemur called microcebus or the night jar.

Day6 Berenty / Lavanono
Day transfer with 4WD on the path to the village of Lavanono, en route explore the endemic flora characteristic of the region, the Mahafaly tribe’s tombs highly decorated. Overnight and diner at Sorona Hotel.

Day7 Lavanono / Ampanihy
Continuation of the adventure by taking the track to Ampanihy known for the traditional factory of the Mahiar carpets. .. Overnight at the bush hotel Angora.

Day8 Ampanihy / Village de Betioky / Tuléar
Continuation towards Betioky and Toliara. Overnight at Escapade Hotel.

Day9 Tuléar / Ranohira / Isalo
In the morning relax at the hotel or city tour of Tulear. In the afternoon road to Ranohira. Check in Isalo Ranch Hotel.

Day10 Isalo National Park
In the morning visit of Isalo including the canyon of nymphes, waterfall. possibility of visiting the natural black and blue pool. come back to the village and walk to the natural pool in the afternoon. Return back to the hotel.

Day11 Ranohira / Ihosy / Andringitra
Continuation to the Reserve of Andringitra. Installation at the bungalows of Camp Catta.

Day12 Andringitra / Fianarantsoa
Half day guided excursion within the massif of Andringitra. Depends of the physical condition. Deferent trek are available : Tsaranoro forest (ring tailed lemurs’tour, normal tour) , natural pool, summit of Lagera (600 m ascent, offering spectacular view of the valley but need a good physical condition). Visits of some villages. Road to Fianarantsoa. Installation at Costoyannis Hotel.

Day13 Fianarantsoa / Ranomafana
Departure to Ranomafana trroughout the tapia and eucalyptus forest . Check in Domaine Nature hotel. Evening walk for spotting some nocturnal species .

Day14 Ranomafana / Ambositra / Antsirabe
Morning visit within National Park of Ranomafana .The rain forest the occasion to find a large species of flora and fauna such as the rare gold lemur, brown lemurs.... chameleons. Then continuation to Antsirabe passing by the capital of the handicraft wooden sculptures, figurines Zafimaniry,... Installation at the guest house Chambre du Voyageur.

Day15 Antsirabe / Miandrivazo / Tsiribihina River Descent Morning departure to Miandrivazo , transfer to the boarding point of Masekapy and beginning of the decent of Tsiribihina ‘s river on boat. Explore the landscapes of Menabe... the tobacco plantation, villages of the Sakalava’s tribe. Entry on the gorges. Camping overnight on the sand bank.

Day16 Tsiribihina River Descent
Continuation of descent. Stop at a great and beautiful water falls and the natural swimming pool. Possibility of bird watching for spotting the aquatic birds such as the Vintsy fisher swimming and relax on the white sandy bank. ... then continuation of the descent.. at the end of the afternoon installation of the camp for the night. Folkloric animation with the traditional Sakalava’s song, with cabosses in the evening.

Day18 Morondava / Tana
Depends of the flight schedules and transfer to the airport of Morondava to catch the flight back to the capital. Correspondence flight back to Europe.
