Discovering the Northern part of Madagascar with Diego Suarez, one of the most beautiful bay in the world. 4WD trip, treks in Montagne d’Ambre and iTsingy of Ankarana. Our trip will end on the beautiful islands of Nosy Komba and Nosy Be.

General description :

Description : North Madagascar Trip : The first week you will discover the high stop sites and reserves on the surrounding of Diego Suarez, the second week , Nosy Komba and Nosy be islands will give an unforgettable beach stay within nice hotels.
Period : All other the year. Please note that on the Western part of the Tsingy the entry could be closed depends of the period ( level of the water ... wet season) in this case only the Easter part of the tsingy could be accessible.
Accommodation : Good standard, 02 * * and superior
Vehicles / Transport: all needed transfers airport / hotels are included. In Diego a 4wd with an English speaking driver will be at your disposal .
Availability : The proposed trip is private and individual trip which could be arranged as per your requested period (take off or add on some days than the scheduled).
Flights : We could book your Domestic flights. Meanwhile we advise you to book your international flight in the country of departure.



Day 1 : Arrival AntananarivoMeet at the airport and transfer to the hotel on the city center ( Résidence Lapasoa ) or nearby the airport Hotel Bois Vert (depends of the scheduled program of the day after). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Antananarivo – Diego - Ramena / Les 3 Baies
Transfer back to the airport and flight to Diego. Arrival inDiego meet and transfer to Meva plage Hotel in Ramena. Visit of the 03 bays of Diego. The 03 bays are formed by the bay of Sakalava, pigeons’ bay and the bay of dunes. It’s a nice and calm place , less frequented with white beach. The vestige of the colonial period are presented by the canon, nearby the bays. Continuation to Ramena beach and lunch at the local restaurant. Before getting back to the hotel you will assist the sunset spectacle on the beach. Back to the hotel. Overnight at Meva Plage hotel.

Day 3 : La Mer d'Emeraude
Transfer to Ramenato catch the boat and then excursion to “ Mer d’Emeraude”. It’s a lagoon which has the colour of the Emeraude situated on the north of Diego. An ideal place for snorkeling as many different fish with multitudes colours can be spotted there. (snorkeling equipment will be provided by us). Pic nic lunch during the excursion. Back to Ramena at the end of the afternoon. Overnight at Meva Plage hotel.

Day 4 : Amber Mountain
Road transfer till Amber mountain, the Amber national park Mountain was created on 1958 on a volcanic region. The tropical rain forest will give you the opportunity to discover many species of endemical plants (ficus, orchids… )and animals (chameleons, gecko, lemurs ...) Pic nic lunch during the visit. If time permit visit to the waterfalls of Antomboka, the sacred waterfalls. On the road to the hotel a short stop for visiting Joffre Ville. Overnight at Nature Lodge.
