Espace Mada Team includes 20 persons based in Antananarivo and province : Administrative Staff, Drivers, Guides, logistic staff. Espace Mada Madagascar Trip are managed by english speaking drivers. We advise for any Tour Madagascar : day per day, hotel, national park, domestic flights.

1 – Reservation

Espace Mada offers tailor made trips with determined dates on Madagascar; typical travels are available on our website www.madagascar-circuits.com. To obtain your travel, the customer can contact us either by our website or by email espacemada@espacemada.com or by phone: +261 34 05 828 45.

Any registration implies acceptance of the conditions of sale as well as the present special conditions. It is accompanied by an application for a deposit of 30% of the terrestrial services per participant at the confirmation of the reservation. The balance will be paid before de parture. An invoice will be given to the customer up on departure. Payments can be made by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), cash Euros, or by bank transfer. The traveler must give us the names and first names on his passport or his identity document used during his trip, as well as his telephone number. Up on confirmation of the customer, we will make reservations with our various providers. We will keep our customers informed of the confirmation of its services as soon as possible and, if necessary, we will propose alternatives if partners are not available.

2 – Prestation Priceand Terms

The services included in the price are indicated in the Espace Mada quotation (see chapter “included”) for a given number of participants. Each additional service requested by the traveler as well as the change in the number of participants (additional registrations or cancellations) may change the total price of the trip and will imply a new quote. Any service not mentioned is the responsibility of the customer.

3 – Cancellation and assistance insurances

Espace Mada has taken out Civil Liability insurance for circuit coverage with the company ARO (Police number 61D106 ).

To participate in our travels, we recommend that our clients take out assistance-repatriation medical expenses abroad. The customer will undertake to provide Espace Mada with a copy of the contract specifying the names of the insured persons, the contract numbers, the contact details of the insurance company and the names of the persons to be contacted in case of emergency. Any assistance costs (additional vehicle or other means of transport, medical care, drug purchases or other) can be advanced on site by Espace Mada. These fees must be reimbursed to Espace Mada within 30 days of the first procedure.

In the event that the client does not have repatriation insurance Espace Mada disclaims any responsibility. Each guest is informed, because of the characteristics of Madagascar that our travels can lead to certain risks related for example to the remoteness of medical centers during the circuit/stay. Therefore, it must assume with full knowledge of the facts and undertakes, as well as its rights holders, not to hold Espace Mada and its providers responsible for accidents that may occur during the trip. In addition, we will not be held responsible for a participant’s physical inadequacy.

In the case of air transport, the traveler holding a boarding pass remains under the protection and assistance of the airline.

4 – Air transport

Espace Mada does not book international flights for all transport to Madagascar. Participants are solelyresponsible for their delivery. Domestic or regional flights to connect certain stages of the journey may be offered. After the confirmation of the quote, Espace Mada reserves them and will have to issue them within 24 hours of working day. For any air fare issued at the customer’s request, or due to the policy of some airlines for certain types of fares, it will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the ticket price regardless of the cancellation date. The full price of the flights will be charged upon confirmation of the quote.

5 – Land transport

In the event of a mechanical breakdown of a vehicle, the driver will notify the office at Lot IVA 114 Antanetisoa – Ankaraobato – 102 Tananarive – BP 4161 immediately. In return, Espace Mada undertakes to provide the customer as soon as possible with another vehicle to replace the previous one and commits to reimburse the lost rental days.

6 – Cancellation

Customers who are required to cancel their trip should notify Espace Mada and its insurer as soon as possible. Depending on the cancellation date, the following charges will be applied:

  • Between 60 and 30 days: 50% of the total price
  • Between 30 and 7 days: 75% of the total price
  • Less than 7 days: 100% of the total price

This scale applies to land-based benefits; In accordance with Article 4, any flights will be 100% penalized

7 – Revocation, Claim

A bad execution of a planned service or its absence must be immediately reported to the attendants or to Espace Mada. Any travel claim must bead dressed by the customer to Espace Mada SA Tour Operator, Lot IVA 114 Antanetisoa Ankaraobato – Tana 102, B.P 4161 by lette rrecommended with acknowledgement or email, and no later than 1 month after the return date , accompanied by all the supporting documents. Applicable law: Contracts between Espace Mada and the customer are subject to Madagascar law.

8 – Limitations of responsibilities

In the case of special or exceptional circumstances, and in order to ensure the safety of the participants as well as for climatic reasons or unfore seen events, Espace Mada reserves the right to substitute a means of transport, accommodation, itinerary to another as well as changing the dates or schedules to ensure the best protection of its customers. Each participant will have to comply with the rules of caution and follow the advice given by the attendants in all circumstances. Espace Mada cannot be held responsible for accidents that would be caused by the fault, carelessness or negligence of a participant. Espace Mada will follow the instructions of the Malagasy or international authorities and cancel the trip of its customers if such are the instructions. In this case, and only in this case, Espace Mada will reimburse the sums paid except for the sums incurred for booking flights or accommodations.
